This guide is here to help you get your Beeline paired to your Android phone.
To use your Beeline for navigation it must be paired and connected to a phone.
Your Beeline can either be:
- Not paired
- Paired and not connected
- Paired and connected
If your Beeline has been paired, then it will automatically connect when the Beeline app is open.
NOTE
- Your Beeline can only be paired to a single phone
- You only need to pair your Beeline to your phone once
- Your Beeline remembers what phone it is paired to, and your phone will also remember any Beelines it has been paired to.
How to pair your Beeline
- Put your Beeline into "pairing" mode by pressing the top button on the Beeline.
Check your Beeline says "Anyone out there?" - In the Beeline app go to SETTINGS
- Tap SET UP
- Wait for the app to find your Beeline and continue with the pairing process
How to unpair your Beeline
If you’re unable to connect your Beeline then remove the pairing between your Beeline and phone and create a fresh pairing.
NOTE
You should never normally need to do this unless you have more than one Beeline!
Unpair in one step (Recommended)
You can unpair your Beeline and phone in one step by using the Beeline app. This is the recommended way to unpair as it ensures that pairings are removed from both your phone and your Beeline.
- In the Beeline app navigate to SETTINGS
- Tap UNPAIR
- Your Beeline will then restart
NOTE
If you can not see your Beeline in SETTINGS then you will need to unpair your Beeline manually, then forget your Beeline from your phone (unpairing this way is a 2 step process and it is important both steps are completed).
Manual unpair
1. Unpair your phone from your Beeline- On your Beeline navigate to the unpair screen
- Tap *UP* and confirm
- Your Beeline will then restart
- Open Bluetooth settings
- If your Beeline is listed in Paired Devices then:
- Tap the "cog" button
- Tap Forget on the dialog
