Hi Timothy, thanks for your comments! We are keen to work with all of our motorcyclist Beeliners to figure out the best method for calibration - it may need to be adapted a bit from the pushbike one. Please could you send your email address to info@beeline.co and I'll add you to our list of motorcyclists? Cheers, Kate

Same problem here.  I use my Beeline on my motorcycle and can't calibrate the device using the current process.

Same... using Beeline for motorcycle-trips. Calebrate the device is tricky.

Any update on calibrating the beeline for motorcycles?  I want to get one for my bike.

Chris, sounds like you had some success calibrating it.  What was your process?

The current software version allows device calibration by rotating the Beeline in horizontal and vertical orientation. No need to raise the front wheel anymore.

I am using a Beeline with my Enfield Bullet 500 and can confirm that device calibration works.

Unfortunately calibration is being lost frequently. My Beeline shows plausible directions as often as not. I don't know if this is general behaviour or specific to my device.

In my experience the Beeline is highly unreliable, basically useless as a navigation aid.

Unfortunately I'm not having much success but I think its to do with interference, maybe? I've only been out on a short trip through central London, but I might try and isolate the device better from the rest of the bike to see if that helps.

    Hi all,

Still working on it! The current calibration does still require that you attach it to your handlebar and lift the front wheel into the air but we are making progress on a new calibration method which should make it possible on motorcycles.

We'll keep you all updated! If anyone else on this thread would like to be included in our motorcycle test group please sent me an email at support@beeline.co and I'll sign you up :)

    Cheers,

    Kate

Sorry I didn't reply to the last mail out. I've only tried a short trip so far!
