    As of today, we have released auto-calibration to the App Store! Give your app a refresh, wave goodbye to magnetic calibration, and hello to more precise geo-locating! We'll 'keep kickin' - thanks for the motivation!

    Hi Peter,

    In short, Beeline have been working on just this feature for a few months now! It's been included in the Beta version for a while now, and generally works well. I get the impression that there is the odd lingering issue with it, but that these should be fixed soon.

    Hey again,

    I just tried out the beta version, but did not recognize an improvement.  After few Kilometers of traveling the arrow was starting again to point into absolute ridiculous directions...

    Unfortunately this is currently useless to me.  Device is working fine when standing still, but not when I'm moving.

    Hope it'll improve soon.

    I have exactly the same issue. Sometimes the arrow points to the opposite direction. Have to navigate using data from the distance screen in these cases 🙄

    Hey Yauhen, are you having the same difficulties now that we've released auto-calibration?? Trying to navigate using the distance screen does not sound particularly ideal!

    I have to say auto calibration is amazing! Absolutely love this feature! Didn't have the same problem after update :) However I think the compass was still pointing a bit wrong direction (I think at some point the difference between the real direction and the arrow was around 30-40 deg)

    That's great to hear Yauhen! However, we reckon the compass should figure itself exactly after auto-calibration has finished. Did your discrepancy persist throughout the journey? We'll investigate.

    Hi Sam! I used it one more time today and the arrow direction was perfect. Any recommendations during the initial calibration? Do I need to keep straight while it is calibrating? 🙄

    Have just had another ride and the arrow was pointing to the opposite direction. Tried to restart the route, but it didn't help. Callibration didn't start during the second attempt. :(

    Hi Yauhen! How annoying for you (and us!!) 

    This is a really silly question but is there any chance that you repositioned the Beeline device upside down inside the strap? That might explain the 180 degree inaccuracy! 

    We'd also very much like to hear more about the calibration not starting. Did the auto-calibrate symbol (spinning arrows) not come on at all? We will investigate immediately if so!

    Haha... The question makes sense, but I'm sure I didn't attach it upside down 😁

    Regarding the calibration mark. So when I started my ride,the arrow was pointing in the wrong direction. I finished the ride, restarted the app and started a new ride with the same final destination (in a hope that it will recalibrate itself). However, the calibration sign didn't appear and it was still pointing to the wrong direction :(

    Thanks Yauhen. One of the exciting parts of a fast-moving company is that our product is constantly being iterated and improved, so I have absolute confidence we'll get this sorted quickly.
