I appreciate the adhesive issues were me being stupid but the charging issues remain and I am at present unable to prevent it slowly powering down 🤷🏻‍♂️😥

I received my Beeline moto 2 days ago.  My unit will also not charge. No reply to email or submitting a support request.

Initially I thought mine wasn’t charging too - it actually doesn’t give you visual feedback, unless its on and at the right screen.

I assume that you are putting it in the mount and twisting it - it doesn’t twist all that smoothly

Yeah, I’ve got it seated as correctly as is possible and also got in on the battery usage screen which does not then show any topping up occurring when I connect it to any source via USB

No indication that it is charging.  That and after 1 hour I went down 2% in battery while it was on the charger.

Same here, mine just started going mental, showed nothing moving but 58% percent charge, then shot straight upto 90%, then I literally watched 10 percent drop off it one a second and then dropped right back down to zero and is apparently charging ‘normally’!
All of that while, as you say, was plugged in 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mine did the same thing (not charging) but I handed it off to someone else who clicked it in and twisted it and it started charging right away. Maybe I don’t have the right touch?

Mines not charging either. I did notice that the plastic piece that serves as a runner for the charging contacts is not glued very well and is moving when you attempt to rotate the charger to the proper location. I believe the plastice piece is covering up the charging contacts not allowng the charging probes to mate with the contacts in the back of the unit.

Mine does not charge, apparently a common problem. Triedf different USB adapters. And there is so little juice in it on arrival that you can not switch it on and see what’s happening. What a disappointment.

    Very strange occurrences.
I’ve been keeping an eye on mine this week since making this post and it ‘seems’ to be behaving properly and charging correctly 🤷🏻‍♂️
We’ve definitely unearthed some intriguing phenomena surrounding charging these units!

I have a similar/inverse problem.  My unit will charge, but only to about 40%, no matter how long I leave it plugged in.  But worse, irrespective of being plugged in or not the unit (and app) tells me that it is currently charging.

I have an open support ticket which was being handled, but they've gone quiet since I asked for a replacement or refund.  Pity, because the one time I did use it on the bike it was great.

As an update to my noncharging issue Beeline has requested that it be returned for a new unit.

New unit arrived yesterday and is charging with no issues. Very quick turnaround on the replacement so kudos to the Sam for staying on top of my issue.
