    Hi Eric,

Sorry when I searched issues I didn't find your one - I would have added it to that if I'd known :-)

I'm going to install the app on my wife's phone tonight and pair the Moto to hers just in case it is my phone (I have no reason to think it is other than I remember reading that the Beeline gets its GPS data from the phone, so it's worth a shot).

    Cheers, Andrew

    Hi Andrew
I would be interested to see if it is a phone issue. I had emailed support directly so it didn’t show up in the community pages.

Try doing a few figure 8s.

Hi, I also have this issue and my arrow also points about that much to the left all the time. I received my beeline about a week ago.

Edit: I'm wondering if this could be due to the Beeline using the gyroscope for calibration when the bike is still on the stand and leaning left. I'll have to try to lift the bike off the stand first and only then power it on to see if that has an effect.

So finally got a chance to install the app on my wife's phone (Galaxy Note 8) and went for a short ride. Still the same issue - the arrow points slightly to the left (roughly 35°), so it's not the phone.

I wish there was some way to manually tweak the calibration, other than the skewed arrow the device is awesome, but it's kinda unusable with that fault.

I've submitted a support request in the end.

Before heading out to work today I left the app open for 5 mins before heading off to give it lots of time to sync with as many satellites as it could, and then rode two figure of 8's before heading off. Didn't work - still had the arrow pointing to the left the whole way in. I'll update this thread if I hear anything back from support (though I imagine they're pretty busy getting the last of the Moto's out the door!)

    Cheers, Andrew

Just for reference, my Moto points to the right, about at 1 o'clock.  My ride to work is all left turns & the arrow points to the right lane or shoulder most of the way.  This unit arrived this weekend & so far, I've only been able to test it in my truck, meaning this is not a (wholly) bike-leaning issue.

Also, it never matches the arrow display on the phone app when routing, not even in compass mode.  (Honestly, I don't understand where the phone's arrow is supposed to be pointing--usually 90° right or left.)  So maybe my phone's compass is off?

After a few emails from the support team it looks like they might have found the bug (something about magnetic declination) - it seemed to be affecting people in the Southern hemisphere more than the Northern which is probably why it didn't show up during development/testing.

Apparently there should be a new app update pushed out sometime this week.

@Logan, I'm not sure it relies in the phone compass (I know it does rely on the GPS but I think the unit has it's own compass? I could be totally wrong...) so it will be interesting to see if the app fix sorts your issue too.

    Cheers, Andrew

Same problem here in Brazil, but my arrow is pointing to the right (~1pm). It's really annoying.

Update the firmware using the app. It seems to have fixed my problem.
