I have received my Beeline Moto today and took it for a test drive right away! And I have to say it's awesome and does exactly what I was expecting. So great! I used the navigation mode with some added waypoints, the whole experience was very easy.
Now while driving the display and information on the display was very clear and easy to understand. But what I was really missing was a (subtle) sound to notify me a navigation point was near. Of course you can read on the screen when the next point is coming up, but having a small sound just before would be a huge difference and also give some peace of mind you are not going to forget to do a turn or something. Especially when doing somewhat longer drives on the motorway. Would be a shame you look down and see you just missed your exit :-)
It seems to me a sound could be something which is relatively easy to implement in the app with great benefits. A quick win so to speak. And perhaps a simple setting where one can setup how soon in advance they want the notification (which could also be a nice addition later down the road, after the first implementation).
I think a lot of motorcyclists use a headset so it would work really well together. Cyclists could also benefit from the feature, they can hear the sound from their phone/headset.
Edit, just to be clear. No navigation instructions, just a 'headsup' sound -ploink-..
