Better notification for upcoming turns

Would be a very nice addition yes. But without trying to hijack your thread, I think a notification sound would be a very needed addition as well. So you can keep your eyes on the road and what's going on around you and still know when to make the turn.

Inversing the colors on the display with (optional) backlight blinking together with a sound will give good feedback to those with and without headset in the helmet.

It has two big benefits, 1. you don't miss a turn when driving because you forgot to look at the Beeline and 2. when you already know what's coming up the notification indicates when to actually do it.

When driving around with the Beeline moto I also think the indication of when to actually do something could be a tiny bit faster. I can see it's not a problem at all on a bicycle, but on a faster motorcycle it seems like the final arrow pointing in the right direction is a bit too late..

I agree with the arrow pointing late at those quicker speeds.

With my TomTom Rider, I'm used to hearing a prompt and glancing at the screen for the turn. It feels like the Beeline is almost there, just needs a more obvious visual and/or audial prompt.

I'm not sure how sound notifications would work - assuming the phone would need pairing with both the Beeline and intercom?

Well at least on my phone it has no problem connecting to both the Beeline and my headset. I usually drive around with some quiet music in the background and an app to notify me for speed camera's etc, and now with the Beeline as well ;-).

So the Beeline app only has to make a sound and any (modern) headset should have no problem with it. Perhaps with a volume override, so the Beeline notification is always loud enough. More advanced options could include a 'use the HSP protocol instead of A2DP'. But first things first, 'faster' more early arrow pointer, some visual blinking and a simple notification sound :-)

A notification sound is nice - but a backlight blink would be ideal. I bought into the Beeline concept to free myself from most of the phone distractions while riding so would be great to have the beeline doing all the work.

That's why there are settings invented! ;)
I'd probably turn off backlight blinking because I want max battery life. But I would like an inverted screen blinking, which would also attract your attention but without costing too much battery. (And obviously I'd turn on a notification sound).

So it should not be something that is forced upon you, those things should always be optional.

Hey guys! These are all great ideas, and we could certainly look at integrating audio prompts! Maybe flashing backlight too :). I'll feed all these back to the tech team. Perhaps we could do both and then give you the option between the two!

Sounds great, would love the option for either or both!

Audio prompts via Bluetooth would be awesome!

Also the ability to charge or plug into a power source while riding and navigating since I might need to do that on a long ride or tour.
