Getting experience of the Beeline on my Ducati - using the new auto-calibrate software.
1. It's slow to calibrate and even slower to work out a route with RouteAssist - hopefully things will speed up as time goes on. Having to download every route over mobile data is not good, although when setting off from home and still on wifi presumably will help. Maybe RouteAssist can store previous routes on my phone? Whatever helps side-step the use of mobile data would be good.
2. On the most recent two trips, RouteAssist has tried to take me along bridleways - again hopefully this will improve over time.
The system does seem to react quickly when I go off-course, eg to avoid said bridleways and stay on the actual road.
The "next waypoint at 100 metres" seems right for the open road and once you get used to it, this is so much better than a complex satnav screen full of instructions and a voice telling you what to do.
