Problem using GPX files

Hey Paul, so glad you're loving your Beeline. The GPX should work pretty smoothly.... I just had a crack with the link you sent and seemed to work for me, so let's investigate what was going on in your case. My first guess is you might have compressed and truncated it accidentally. Could I be a pain and ask you to replicate this? And maybe try with another GPX file?

    Cheers,

    Sam

    Hi Sam,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly and yes, yours does look like it has worked fine. Mine looks like this -

So I'm wondering if it is in the file transfer technique. I downloaded the file on my laptop and can see all of the waypoints in that file. I then emailed the file to myself to get it onto my phone and when I open the file in my phones email, I can still see all the waypoints. I then select the share icon and select the "Copy to Beeline" option and then I get the above loaded into the app.

BTW: I'm using an iPhone 6s running the latest OS incase that matter.

Hi Paul, hmmm. That sounds like the right process. Let me follow up with our developers about this and get back to you before the end of the day.

    Cheers,
    Sam

Hi Paul, had a good chat with the team. We know why this is happening and (amazingly!) how to fix it.

It will be resolved in the next iOS release. Hoping that's going to be about a week away.

    Stay tuned!

I tried the same GPX on Android (version 2.1.1663) application and got the same partial result as Paul.

Hi Hervé, sorry to hear you're having this issue on Android. We'll look into it this week.

@Paul Warren - has your issue been resolved? Been able to download GPX routes and have some great Beelining adventures?

    Cheers,

    Sam

     Hi Sam,

No progress for me yet, I still have the same problem. Has the new release been issued yet? I did check to see that there were no updates pending before just trying it.

    Cheers

    Paul.

Hi there. I'm having same issue on Android - import GPA file with lots of waypoints, and it reduces to just a smaller number.

Method is creating GPX file using online cycle journey planner, then saving straight into Google Drive, then opening directly from there.

    Hi all,

Followed up with our developer about this. He has made the changes but we ended up delaying the iOS update release. It is on its way - I'll be sure to notify you on this thread when we've released the update. Sorry for the delay!

    Cheers,

    Sam

Sorry Gus - should have clarified. We'll be fixing this issue on Android too. We're due a release, but haven't got one confirmed at the moment. Hopefully it'll be a week or so, but I'll keep you posted!

Hey Paul, sorry for the delay. iOS is on it's way - it was meant to be this week but we had a hiccup! Will keep you posted if it gets delayed further, but the developers are flat out and reckon next week! Thanks for your patience.

    Cheers,
    Sam

    Hi Sam,

I just got the 2.3.1308 iOS release and noticed that the problem is still there in this release. Was it supposed to be fixed in this version or is there another one to come?

    Cheers

    Paul.
