Hey! This is certainly something we've thought of before, and in time we'd love to implement it. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Cheers,

No biggie for us in Sweden, we have lots of speed cameras but they only read plates from the front. Riding a motorcycle on speed camera ways is the best. You know there are no live police officers on those ways 👍

With the newish Woolf Ring which is a wearable alert system, a flashing symbol on your device could really be a very good selling point. Users of the Woolf device have mentioned the constant buzzing on your wrist becomes annoying but a flash from the Beeline wouldn’t have the same distraction (I think).
Anyway, another one to add to your list after you’ve increased the .gpx import points ASAP!!

having this work both in navigation mode and just passively when riding without a specific destination - for both fixed cameras (eg data from something like https://www.photoenforced.com) and live/crowdsourced (Waze would be great, but I can't see a way to get data from them, though being able to report things back from the Moto buttons might help them share) would be an amazing feature ... heck, saving a rider from one speed camera fine would pay for the device!

would also love to see a simple notification for speed in general ... on/at the limit and over. Both of these could be shown as a simple 'dot' on the display for the current unit, or via coloured LEDs on a v2 (eg camera light: amber when 500m from a camera, red when 150m; speed light: amber when at speed limit, red when over ... for the current device having a dot that flashes would be a help)

I notice in the otherwise great T3 review that the lack of speed limits/safety cameras is called out - https://www.t3.com/reviews/beeline-moto-review - so fingers crossed there is a solution.

A lot of mapping solutions already have speed limits available, and fixed cameras are becoming easier to locate (via mapping solutions and 3rd party sites) ... the biggest challenge are the mobile camera units (Waze seems to be the best at this, with sheer number of users providing good coverage)
