I really don't know. I just want a realistic date as to when I might actually be able to fit it to my bike and go out and use it. I'm thinking its next year now. Autumn at best!!

    Hey Beeline people,

Don't you think it's a good idea to at least let us know if the batch arrived at your warehouse this week? Last few times you expected deliveries at your warehouse and they were postponed by various kind of reasons. I don't want to get surprised by "false hope" again.

Hoping to hear soon from you. Still excited to receive my Beeline Moto tho😉

    Hi all,

a new week started without any news. I planned to start using the beeline within my vacation - which will end in four days. As I don't need a navigation for my daily commute, it might be 2020 until I can use it for real trips :-( because with the current non existing communication, I'm pretty sure that nothing will arrive at us customers this week.

I'm glad to read at least some posts from people which seemed to get it from the first batch. Without that, I would get concerned if anything was shipped yet at all! In the weekly weekend warmup, the Explorometer stays to 0.

Hoping to get positive news soon by somebody,

    Gernot

This whole thing is ridiculous. Beeline need to stand up and be honest about where they are and what the wait time actually is, not to mention how many batches there are!!! I ordered my plastic unit in December, I’ve had no replies to emails and frankly I’m pissed off. I’m not a uber-hip-start-up guy but surely all this negative press is bad for business, no?

Being in the OEM business in China myself for many years, I would say they have a massive problem. It is either quality related or cashflow. Normally, when a product like this is finished in development it will take 3-4 weeks to produce thousands. So, having several batches at the start may be a precautionary measure to find and eliminate problems from the first batch using first batch receivers as guinea pigs. However, it has been 3 months since the first batch and next shipment should have shipped by now, except any serious problem arised. So, my bet is cashflow problems. I have meanwhile started to give up hoping to receive my Beeline until my trip in end of September. Cheers

I hope Michael is wrong :-(

If they've a problem with Cashflow how will they overcome it? With the current status of the moto version, I don't expect that they will get paid orders for it. So we would have to wait until they get enough cash in from the sales of the velo version??

Regardless of why we haven’t received our product it’s becoming sooo frustrating. I’m at a point where I don’t even expect it for this riding season

This is increasingly frustrating. Just bloody talk to us Beeline! It's really not that hard, own it!

Least you could do is say if your order number is from XX to XX you'll be in the upcoming batch and so on. Just give us some realistic expectations, I mean your reputation is on the line here.

I sent an e-mail to Beeline yesterday. Apparently they respond to questions by e-mail. Their answer to my question about delivery times:

The Batch 2 units are currently on their way from China. The mounts will be delivered with this batch.

As we shared in our latest update, you will receive an email with a tracking number for your Beeline as soon as it's been dispatched.

    Cheers,

    Victor

    Marketing Manager

Seems like the expected delivery date will be postponed once more, yeey. If I were Beeline I would share this update with the rest of the world instead of keeping their customers in the dark.

    Thanks for sharing that information.

"currently on their way" can mean a lot :-(

Does anybody now if they use airfreight or send it via container on a ship? In the later case we can be glad to get our already paid units within September.

Gernot - I would guess only beeline know this. They are aware of this thread, and they are now ignoring others on the Kickstarter Page with exactly the same questions. It's quite obvious to me they haven't arrived, beeline just need to grow a pair and let people know.

They must be processing hundreds of emails instead of making a statement on the kickstarter - quite bizarre!

    From a facebook comment;

Beeline Hi guys - we're so close now to getting all the preorders shipped. We have batch 2 in Hong Kong airport now and batch 3 following behind it - we're waiting on confirmation that batch 2 is on a plane (this was cancelled yesterday due to the airport protests) and hope that it will arrive in the UK and US warehouses late this week/early next week, and we'll be shipping out from there as quickly as our warehouse can pick and pack. As soon as that stock lands in the UK we will send a full update - if you haven't been receiving the updates please contact support@beeline.co to ensure you're on the list.

Appreciate this has been a long wait, we apologise for the frustration that has caused. Rest assured all decisions to delay have been taken to ensure we deliver the best possible product, albeit later than expected. We are all really excited to get them sent out. Thanks for your patience and support.

I read other comments with interest.

I have had a response to a second question I sent since my last post.

The detail is below, my concern is that it is not totally aligned with responses others are receiving.

As has been said on here lots of times, COME ON BEELINE TELL US THE TRUTH WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON YOU HAVE KEPT PEOPLE HANGING ON NOW FOR WELL OVER SIX MONTHS!!!

Hi Anthony-Simon - the stock is literally in between the factory in China and our UK warehouse now, you'll get an email as it is dispatched to you from the warehouse.

    Thanks for your patience

    Mark

I have to say I am finding it a little odd that this is Beeline's own community feedback page so they must be reading these posts and the silence continues to be deafening.

    Hey everyone,

The latest update has been posted on Kickstarter and I will sent it out to the pre-orders this afternoon:

'Happy day! Batch Two (containing the remaining plastic units) has touched down in London, UK and Virginia, USA.

We had a short hold-up due to the Hong Kong protests and the uncertainty around plane departures, but the batch is here now and we can share the good news. Phew.

The batch will go through customs and be transported to our warehouses over the weekend, and will start shipping next week. Please don’t panic if you don’t receive an email on the first day! It will take several days for our fulfilment providers to get all of the orders out, but you will receive a dispatch email with a tracking number as soon as yours is on its way.

Batch Three (the metal batch) is following soon behind, and we’ll be in touch as soon as it arrives.

Now that we have started shipping this batch, we can’t take any more order or address edits (if you haven’t already been in touch to let us know).

    Exciting times!

    Cheers,

Tom, Mark and the Beeline team'

Anyone who has only plastic units in their order will be in batch two and anyone who has a metal unit in their order will be in batch three.

Not meaning to keep anyone in the dark! The updates come thick and fast from our manufacturers (sometimes several changes in a couple of days) and we would have sent what we think would have been too many emails if we had updated everyone at every twist and turn. We understand your frustration, though, because we feel it too! Sometimes we just have to be patient and let a situation unfold before we share what we know to be as definite as possible at that time.

We are learning and doing our best. I do all of the communications on this so I am certainly taking your feedback onboard and will make sure that I improve next time.

We appreciate your continued enthusiasm and support.

    Cheers,

    Kate

Perhaps you could contact your customers (that have funded the development that pays your wages) a little more often. You are a couple of weeks shy of having had my money for a full year. Using goods from Hong Kong ourselves; our latest delay was just 12 hrs. Please give honest and regular updates. I have had just 5 from you in an entire year.

    Hey Andy,

Oh dear! If you have only received six updates that is definitely too few. I've actually sent twelve updates to the pre-orderers and 20 to the Kickstarter backers. We started off doing them monthly from October last year but have been doing them every couple of weeks more recently. Lots of feedback has been from people telling us to send fewer so we're just trying to strike a balance. Would you like me to check that you are receiving them properly? If you shoot us an email at support@beeline.co I'll double check the mailing list. Have a nice weekend!

    Cheers,

    Kate

Well can I be the first to say "thank you very much Kate" at last an update that has some detail and an explanation as to what has been going on.

It is somewhat of a pity that we have not had this sort of update before, but better late than never I suppose.

I just hope you can deliver now!

I am now looking forward to being able to use the unit.

Hi, just an impatient idea from me:

can the first person who receives a tracking number and follows this thread drop a note here, so that we now Batch 2 really passed customs and distribution (in Europe) started as Kate announced it?

It will be anyhow to late for my vacation which ends today but nevertheless I'm impatient to get the unit.

    Regards,

    Gernot

An update costs nothing. If the timeline is wrong (again) then just communicate that.

I suspect (according to the last financials submitted) that if we all asked for our money back, that it would not end well for Beeline.

Ordered black plastic unit with Ram mount in October, had email with tracking number yesterday. Royal Mail site states delivering tomorrow. I’ll report back as to whether it actually turns up or not. And after reading various other posts, whether it works...

Mine's arrived, but clearly the website is wrong. It shows 2 holders and states each is included with every purchase. When we chose the mount, I presumed based upon the info shown by Beeline; that the Universal mount would be sent as well-

    https://beeline.co/pages/beeline-moto

Universal elastic strap mount (included with every purchase)

So far, fired up the unit and 50% of the time the app it asks me if my data is connected. I go back a step and then it finds the addresses. I'm waiting for a delivery of parts to mount my unit (RAM mount) so can't check the unit itself in the flesh as the Universal mount was not included, but worryingly it was pointing in almost the opposite direction to a simple straight line track!
